 Highlights and Achievements

  • GED and High School Diploma Achievements

    In the past year, 99 students successfully earned their GED or high school diploma through Sumter Adult Education. This accomplishment not only reflects personal milestones for the graduates but also contributes an estimated $21 million in economic impact to the Sumter community.

  • Comprehensive Adult Education Services

    Sumter Adult Education offers a range of programs, including Adult Basic Education (ABE), Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IELCE), and post-secondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) industry certifications. These programs are designed to equip adult learners with the skills needed for workforce readiness and civic engagement.

  • Affordable & Comprehensive Learning Opportunities

    The Adult General Education classes are offered at a nominal tuition fee of $30, which includes access to the CASAS GOALS test, Kaplan study materials, GED Ready practice vouchers, expert instruction, and 24/7 computer-based supplemental instruction. This affordable structure ensures that adult learners have the necessary resources to succeed.
