The Sumter County School District is thrilled to share that we’ve been awarded a $50,300 grant from the Suncoast Credit Union to support students, teachers, and families across our schools! 🎉
This generous funding will make a real difference by supporting programs that help our students shine — from STEM activities, math literacy, and fine arts, to Career & Technical Education, debate teams, and positive behavior support. It will also help us celebrate our amazing teachers and school employees through recognition programs like Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year.
“These funds allow us to continue offering opportunities that prepare our students for the future while recognizing the incredible work of our staff,” said Logan W. Brown, Superintendent of Sumter County Schools.
From spelling bees 🐝 and math field days ➗, to leadership programs, career fairs, and student entrepreneurship contests 💡, this grant ensures that Sumter students are equipped for success inside and outside the classroom.
We are so grateful to our friends at Suncoast Credit Union for believing in the power of education and investing in our community. ❤️
📢 Be on the lookout this year as these programs come to life — and join us in celebrating this exciting partnership!
